Waterford Wedgewood collapsed leaving c 1900 uk jobs at risk after a 250 year history- which is sad for both the staff and the company for what it represents and its history. Another great british name bites the dust.

Marks and Spencer are expected to announce large job losses tomorrow – and Denhams and Next are also expected to announce their worst christmas performance for many years.
